Robert Medler

Vice President, Tucson Metro Chamber

Robert Medler is vice president of government affairs for the Tucson Metro Chamber, Southern Arizona’s largest business advocacy organization. Medler joined the chamber in 2007, and leads the organization’s public policy efforts, including all federal, state and local government liaison operations. In this capacity, he also administers the Tucson Metro Chamber Political Action Committee. Medler serves as vice-chair on the U.S. Chamber’s Board of Regents for the Institute for Organization Management, the national Curriculum Committee for the Institute for Organization Management, as well as the Government Relations Council of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

 

Prior to joining TMCC, Medler was a legislative intern with former United States Senator Jon Kyl of Arizona. While there, he provided analysis of Department of Defense operations and Arizona demographics.

 

Outside of his role with the chamber, Medler serves as president of the 162nd Air Guardians, treasurer of the Southern Arizona Defense Alliance, and treasurer of his homeowners association.

 

Medler earned a M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and is a graduate of the University of Arizona, with a dual B.A. in political science and communications. He and his family reside in Marana, Arizona.
