Robert W. Assenmacher

Mr. Assenmacher (NEX Co-Founder 2009) is a Tucson Native and has a passion for building a stronger Southern Arizona business community. His deep family roots of manufacturing, finance and entrepreneurship have provided him with the foundation to be a 21st century industrialist while focusing deeply at how to build enterprise value thru innovation and technology.

Since 2014 Rob has held the position as President of CAID Industries, Inc, a specialty engineering and manufacturing company with over 300 employee's headquartered out of Tucson Arizona.

Rob earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting as well as a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Arizona. He is also a board of director for York Space Systems a next generation satellite company. Rob is involved and supports over a dozen local charities, as well as a member of the American Society of Metals, the American Welding Society and Arizona Mines Get Our Support (AMIGOS). He is also a proud member of the Arizona Chapter of YPO.

Prior to CAID Industries, Rob worked in the banking industry for Bank One/Chase during a 4 year period in the Phoenix market as a manager on both the retail segment and business banking segment. Rob has also held Arizona licenses in Insurance and Real Estate.
